Book Review

The Night Olivia Fell by Christina McDonald

This book was really great! I do not typically pick up suspense novels, but this came in my February Scribbler Box. I am so glad they put it in because I was enthralled throughout the whole things. It had me guessing and second guessing myself as I tried to figure out who did what. It was interesting and heartbreaking and I simply could not put it down. I highly suggest everyone give it a try.

Short Review: Had me on the edge of my seat.

Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalo

I was super excited about this book. Presented by James Patterson, I was sure it would be a vivid adventure. While vivid maybe, I was bored. I finished it but throughout the entire thing I kept asking myself why it was still in my hands? It's not that it lacked description or even a storyline, but interest in general. The only character I felt any sort of personality radiate from was not so much a main character. In fact, our main character, bless her heart, really lacked any type of personality. I felt let down. I expected a girl who knew The Ripper and loved him in spite of his crimes. That is not quite what happens.

Short Review: Heading no where fast.

I am finishing this up, so I'll save my review and any commentary for next month's post. Check back at the end of April to read my thoughts!
